2. Gigs are announced through facebook, friendster, text messages and blog.
3. Although announced (gig) lineup is not yet opened para naman makapaghanda
ang mga gustong makiline up.
4. Lineup is opened 2 to 3 weeks before the said date of the gig.
5. Said date is final so please respect it. (Bagyo lang ang makakapigil)
6. As soon as we open the lineup, meron kaming nilalagay na number wherein
you can contact for info about the upcoming gig.
7. The said number will provide you information on where or when you guys
8. Ticket Selling po kami.
9. Q: Bakit ticket selling? A: Pambayad ng equipment rental, venue at
printing ng tickets. Take note: wala kaming naibubulsa na pera dito.
Most of the time, nanggagaling na sa bulsa namin ang perang
pambayad pag nashoshort kami.
namin sa line-up. First come, first serve, no reservations.
11. Usually, ticket prices ranges from 70 to 75php with one free beer. Tapos
each band ay mabibigyan ng 10 tickets. No worries band members dont need to
pay entrance tickets except read #13.
12. Wala pong pera ang Nayon Tenor kaya walang utang-utang.
13. In case of unexpected halting of the gig, bibigyan namin ng options ang
35php multiplied by 10 so 350php ang irerefund)
14. Remittance of tickets is scheduled usually a day before the gig. The
earlier you remit, the better your slot. Saka lang ninyo makukuha ang slot
niyo pag kumpleto na ang remittance nyo.
15. We do accept guest bands. (usually taga-labas pero depende na rin sa
situation)
16. On the day of the gig, dapat alam na ninyo ang slot niyo kaya kung
dumating ang time niyo at wala pa kayo, imo-move namin kayo sa huli.
17. Speaking of time, respetuhin din po natin ang oras. Marunong naman
kayong magbasa ng oras di ba?
19. We provide drum set (single pedal), 2 guitar amps, 1 bass amp and 1 bass
guitar.
20. Kung gusto mong maging musikero, then act like one. No to ROCKSTARS!!!

GUITAR HEROES: ALAN HOLDSWORTH
Allan Holdsworth (born 6 August 1946) is an English guitarist and composer. He has released twelve studio albums as a solo artist and played many different styles of music over a period of four decades, but is best known for his work in jazz fusion.
Holdsworth first recorded with the band 'Igginbottom on their lone release, Igginbottom's Wrench (later reissued under the group name of "Allan Holdsworth & Friends"), in 1969. In 1971, Holdsworth joined Sunship, an improvising band also featuring Alan Gowen, Laurie Baker and future King Crimson percussionist Jamie Muir. The band played live but never recorded any records.
In the early 1970s Holdsworth joined the British progressive rock band Tempest, and performed on their self-titled debut studio album in 1973. His playing can also be heard on a live BBC Radio concert from the same year, which was released in 2005 as part of a Tempest compilation album entitled Anthology: Under the Blossom.
At around the same time Holdsworth began working with drummer Gary Husband (later to join Level 42) and bassist Paul Carmichael. This became "the IOU band" - Holdsworth's first as a leader - which was the band which recorded Holdsworth's first official solo album, I.O.U., in 1982, starting a 1980s solo career that would span five albums and one EP in the 1980s.
Following I.O.U.'s release, Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen brought Holdsworth to the attention of Warner Bros. Records executive Mo Ostin. (Van Halen had previously enthused about Holdsworth in Guitar Player magazine, saying "that guy is bad! He’s fantastic; I love him", and that Holdsworth was "the best, in my book.") This led to Warners releasing the Grammy-nominated 1983 vinyl-only EP Road Games, produced by longtime Van Halen producer Ted Templeman, and featuring a new IOU lineup (with Husband and Carmichael replaced by Chad Wackerman and Holdsworth's former Bruford bandmate Jeff Berlin) plus vocal cameos from ex-Cream singer Jack Bruce (himself a long-term Holdsworth collaborator). This EP was officially reissued on CD in 2001, having been bootlegged for many years previously.
Having relocated permanently to California (and parted company with Warners over creative control), Holdsworth signed to the Enigma label and began working with bassist Jimmy Johnson (leader of Flim and the BBs). Johnson and Wackerman would remain regular members of both Holdsworth's studio and touring bands, and still work with Holdsworth to this day. The first release by the trio was 1985's Metal Fatigue, followed by 1986's Atavachron, which was the first to feature him working with a new instrument - the Synthaxe MIDI guitar controller; indeed Holdsworth soon became the public face of the Synthaxe. In 1987, Holdsworth released the Sand album. During the same year Holdsworth renewed his musical collaboration with Gordon Beck, recording the duo's third album With a Heart in My Song after an eight-year gap.
In 1992, Holdsworth set up his own recording studio — The Brewery — in San Diego, California. This would become the recording location of all of his studio albums for the next decade from 1993's Hard Hat Area up until 1999's The Sixteen Men of Tain. In 2005, however, Holdsworth stated in an interview that he no longer owned the studio following his divorce in 1999.[1]
At this point, Holdsworth gained a new regular band collaborator in keyboard player Steve Hunt.
Holdsworth's solo compositions are primarily instrumental, but vocals were prominent on all his 1980s albums except Sand (1987), and on the 1992 album Wardenclyffe Tower. Two of his most recurring singers were Paul Williams (featured on three albums) and Rowanne Mark (two albums). Additionally, he himself sang on 'Igginbottom's Wrench and The Things You See.
He has a distinctive playing style that involves a strong scalar sense, combining elements of jazz and progressive rock. The harmonic structure of his pieces is highly advanced, with frequently shifting tonal centres and unique combinations of keys and modes. His phrasing almost always features striking yet subtle transitions between notes that are both consonant and dissonant, with wide and unpredictable intervallic leaps. Whilst soloing, he predominantly uses various legato techniques such as slides, hammer-ons and pull-offs (including a specialised variation of the latter, which works more akin to a 'reversed' hammer-on); all of which result in an extremely fluid lead tone.
One of his most identifiable traits is his use of dense, fingerpicked chords (which are often awash with delay, chorus and other complex effects), articulated using volume swells to create sounds reminiscent of the horn and saxophone. He has said that he once preferred those instruments to the guitar, having been influenced greatly by such saxophonists as John Coltrane and Charlie Parker. At the same time, some of his favourite guitarists were Django Reinhardt, Joe Pass, Charlie Christian and Hank Marvin.
On his 1986 release, Atavachron, Holdsworth first recorded with the SynthAxe; a fretted, guitar-like MIDI controller with a tube that dynamically alters note volume and tone via breathing (similar to a talk box). Although he has used the SynthAxe on all his solo releases since Atavachron, and still enjoys using it in the studio, he says he no longer wishes to make it such an integral part of his playing (especially live), mainly because of it being so rare and difficult to maintain and repair.
Ngunit wala talagang sumasagot.
"Ulol! Naisahan mo ako dun ah..."
Sabay hithit sa aking shrooms.
Well...

GORIO DAKILA (R.I.P.)
So this is it... Instead of creating unpleaseant songs, we FINALLY decided
to call it quits. Its not that we had a fight or exchange of unfriendly
words, its just that we couldn't connect or fuse our minds anymore. We tried
but we cant. We loved music. It is a part of our friggin' life and we
believe that music is meant to be created harmoniously and not just
strumming a guitar chord. It is indeed heartbreaking to end it here but
lookin back on the past 4 effin years that weve been through, we already had
a lot of things created and shared. We had ups and downs, line up changes,
unforgettable gigs, drunken moments, fist fights, emo nights, and a lot of
things that I wont mention here. We created what we could play and we
shared what we could give. Damn, this 4 years that weve gone through is more
than enough.
Its sad but were still glad cause once we finish a chapter, it doesnt mean
that the book is meant to be closed, instead, the next chapters are read.
Yes, we will continue writing and playing songs but in different bands.
So to the ones who never got tired of listening to our music, Thank You Very
Much... We hope that you would still support us in our new bands (Fight the
good Fight, Naked Tanya, Tantrum)...
For the love of music,

GUITAR HEROES: FRANK GAMBALE
Frank Gambale (born December 22, 1958) is an Australian jazz fusion guitarist. He is renowned for his use of the sweep picking and economy picking techniques.
He graduated from GIT in Hollywood, with Student of the Year honors. After graduation, he played the jazz club circuit with his own band and published Speed Picking, his first of many instructional videos. In 1985, he released his first studio album entitled Brave New Guitar, having signed a three-album contract with Legato Records (which was owned by Mark Varney, brother of Shrapnel Records founder Mike Varney). In that same year, he toured with Jean-Luc Ponty, and shortly afterwards began a six-year stint with the Chick Corea Elektric Band in 1987. During his time with the latter, he participated in five albums and shared a Grammy award (with two Grammy nominations). Throughout the 1980s, he would release altogether three studio albums.
An endorsement deal with Ibanez guitars came about in 1986, which resulted in the bright yellow-coloured Frank Gambale model guitar (now FGM series), modeled after the Saber Series line; this went on sale in 1987. Yamaha also manufactured a Frank Gambale model guitar after he left Ibanez in the 1990s. In 1989 he signed with JVC Music, and released Thunder from Down Under the following year. Gambale also served as head of the guitar department of the Los Angeles Music Academy during this time.
The 1990s saw four studio albums released, and in the 2000s Gambale started his own record label—Wombat Records—having purchased his entire Legato discography with the intention of reissuing it himself. A live double album, Resident Aliens: Live Bootlegs, was released in 2001, along with Imagery Suite—a duet featuring classical guitarist Maurizio Colonna. He also recorded one album, Coming to Your Senses, on Steve Vai's Favored Nations label in 2000.
Gambale has been a member of the band Vital Information since 1988, with the group consisting of drummer Steve Smith, keyboardist Tom Coster and bassist Baron Browne. He also played on three collaborative albums with Smith and bassist Stu Hamm on Mike Varney's jazz-orientated label, Tone Center Records. In addition to concert recordings, he released an instructional DVD called Concert with Class in 2003.
In 2004, Gambale reunited with Chick Corea and toured with the Chick Corea Elektric Band. On his official blog in mid-2009, he announced a January 2010 release of a new album entitled Natural Selection. (from Wikipedia)

MOVIES: Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist [2008]
Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist [2008] DVDRIP
PLOT:
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is definitely worth the look, I would say that it's worth full price. The only thing I have a problem with is our leading man, Michael Cera, this guy is a nice actor, but he hasn't really expanded himself into different roles, he's been playing the same character since Superbad to be honest. But I'm seeing Kat Dennings more and more, I'm enjoying her presence on screen, she's very lovely and has potential. But the person who definitely stole the show was Norah's drunk friend, Caroline played by Ari Graynor, she was just beyond hilarious and stole all the laughs. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is a great new teen comedy, though I really hope teenagers don't act like this... if they do... oh, I'm praying that our future is going to be alright.
